Advance technologies and consumers looking for alternatives compels producers to be more innovative in dairy products. Consumption of dairy products increases as there are more alternatives for personal choices and new functional qualities become available in the products. The emphasis on being healthy and natural makes dairy products attractive.

There is a different reason for every age group for consuming these products. Milk with flavours loved by children, fruit yogurts and ice cream varieties which are accepted as small, innocent snacks loved by adults make an alternative group that does not fit to the conventional dessert category. Of course, we must not forget our traditional foods, yogurt and 'ayran' which we consume almost every meal. New R&D activities about these products to make them more attractive for children play an important role in placing this product group in the rising trends.

In the last years on supermarket shelves we see a wide variety of protein drinks with various flavours which target people who do sports, lactose-free milk, probiotic dairy products, smoothies and milkshakes with rich flavours and fruits which are very popular on hot days. Looking at rapidly increasing alternatives and different flavours, we can say that the dairy industry responds fast to this change.

The products developed for industrial scale production in our Dairy Products R&D centre are adapted according to the production conditions and equipment of our business partners and we are involved in all processes starting from recipe development of a product until the product is placed on supermarket shelves. UHT and pasteurized milk with flavours

We work on different combinations of flavours other than banana, strawberry and chocolate and flavours which give a sweeter taste.

We work on different flavour alternatives for drinks which are viscous mixtures of milk and fruit juices. We offer a healthier option for tastes we consume as fruit juices by adding milk to the mixture. This type of products which combine two products and also have a wide variety of flavours to encourage consumption of both fruit juice and milk have been a good alternative nutritional source that contains milk for children and adults who do not like milk.

Yogurt drinks with flavours and ayran

As alternative to traditional tastes, we develop products with innovative flavours. We enrich our traditional ayran with spicy notes. For those who want to consume something different, we use sweet formulations instead of salt and create wonderful drinkable yogurts with fruit flavours. Products such as drinkable yogurts which are both nutritional and filling appeal to end consumers who otherwise do not prefer dairy products and increases the demand for innovative work in this area.

Milk puddings with flavours

We develop drinkable milk puddings combined with traditional tastes. With a unique experience of drinking 'kazandibi' or 'muhallebi' which we normally eat with a spoon , we give a functional quality to these products.

Yogurt

An indispensable part of Turkish cuisine, yogurt is a rich source of protein, calcium, vitamins and mineral. We provide a wide range of tastes for yogurt which appeal both to children and adults. We convey traditional popularity of yogurt to new generations through innovative products. We add biscuit and cookie flavours in strawberry, tropical fruits and berry flavours which are all loved by children. Additionally, we offer yogurt with cereals and nuts.

We also create wonderful alternative desserts using yogurt which appeal to weight watchers. We transform our traditional Turkish yogurt into a sports product by adding protein and various flavours.

Cheese Groups

As an alternative to traditional cheese types, we work on innovative flavours such as chocolate and fruit flavours which appeal to children.

Enzyme modified cheeses are products in which a cheese-like flavour develops rapidly under controlled temperature and time by enzymatic means.

Margarine

The taste of margarine which is popular for breakfast and added in many dishes comes from milk, butter and cream.

For margarine, we have many flavour alternatives including fat and water-soluble butter, cream and milk flavours and for oils, many fat soluble flavour alternatives.

Today in addition to the above flavours, there are also other margarine types with innovative flavours. These flavours which have been popular in the world have started to be offered also in Turkey. Avocado-lime combination, pumpkin with spices, chilli pepper, herbs and garlic combination, almond and walnut, salty caramel, tomato-herbs and coconut are among the most popular innovative flavours for margarine.
