Chemical management plays a key role in both sustainable development and environmental protection. At Aromsa, we handle chemical management processes with from a human health perspective, carrying out them in compliance with national and international legislation and standards. Aromsa Chemical Management Policy includes comprehensive measures regarding safe storage of chemicals, compliance with applicable legislation, training of employees on chemicals, and disposal of chemical waste.

To ensure the safe use of chemical substances and a high level of protection of human health and the environment, we classify and label chemical substances in accordance with the REACH (Registration, Evaluation, Authorization of Chemicals) and CLP (Classification, Labelling and Packaging) laws established by the European Union based on the UN Globally Harmonized System (GHS), and the “Regulation on the Registration, Evaluation, Authorization and Restriction of Chemicals (KKDIK)” published by the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change of the Republic of Türkiye.

In addition to legal regulations, we adopt the GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) guidelines, which includes protective measures related to internal and external conditions that have a polluting and contaminating effect against the possibility of contamination of products. Aromsa has the FSSC 22000 Food Safety Management System certificate.

At Aromsa, disposal of waste containing chemicals is carried out using special methods that vary depending on the type, hazard class and quantity of the waste.
