Emergency Preparedness and Action Plan
Integrity in crisis management and business continuity
SDGs We Contribute to

Protecting the health of our employees and maintaining our operations without interruption in the event of possible natural disasters, epidemics and emergencies are among our fundamental responsibilities. In this regard, we are carrying out preparatory work to increase our resilience against disasters and emergencies.
In order to prepare for emergencies that may affect occupational health and safety at Aromsa, the responsibilities of the Emergency Teams who will take part in prevention, protection, evacuation, firefighting and first aid processes are clearly defined with relevant instructions. Comprehensive Emergency Plans have been prepared for the safe management of emergencies, and an Incident-Impact Table showing the effects of possible events and lists of contact persons have been created.
We review and update our Emergency and Action Plans annually to include risk assessment results, physical changes, incidents, legislation changes, changes in personnel, and changes in natural disaster risk.
We monitor the threats that global trends may pose to business continuity and security in various areas, such as social dynamics, the UN Sustainable Development Goals, geopolitical uncertainties, technological transformation, demographic changes, globalization, the sharing economy, resource constraints, regulations, environmental crises, epidemics, mega-urbanization, the decline of social solidarity with the rise of individual choice, cultural levelling and the rise of extremists, and the disruption of the traditional family structure.
We also monitor the impact of financial, reputation, operational, legal, customer satisfaction, occupational health and safety, environmental, food safety and information security risks on our organization through the Incident-Impact Table.
We review our emergency head counting and team lists monthly and ensure that emergency equipment is checked at regular intervals. We refresh the knowledge of our office and field employees about what to do in emergencies through drills and practical training. In addition, we have business continuity plans that we strengthen through drills to ensure the continued operations of our facilities in emergencies. We continue our work with the aim of strategically managing and developing our Crisis Management and Business Continuity activities by including them in the Balanced Scorecard in 2025.
